Since 2002, Mareco Integrated Logistics is a privately owned logistics provider specializing in one-stop shopping solutions for international transport of food and food-related products.

Early 2005, Mareco South America Ltda - Brasil, was founded in order to provide and ensure a personalized and dedicated service to the ever expanding South American Foodstuff market.

In 2017, a majority of the shares of Mareco was taken over by Iceland’s Eimskip. The take-over allows Mareco to benefit from being a part of the companies network as well as from the different facilities Eimskip controls/owns worldwide, without any changes with regards to strategy, activities and daily management of Mareco itself. Beginning January 2020 Mareco NV opened a liaison / representative office in Turkey. Turkey has been playing an ever increasing role in the worldwide protein production and export market over the last decade and we’re convinced that this new set-up will allow us to strengthen our service both from and to Turkey.
